Help us respond clearly
In your email, include:
- whether you are a learner, parent or guardian, educator, or other user;
- the page, course, lesson, device, and browser involved;
- what you expected and what happened; and
- a screenshot if it helps and does not reveal private information.
Do not send passwords, financial account details, government identification numbers, health or patient records, full student records, or information about another child that you are not authorized to share.
Privacy, child, and accessibility requests
For a privacy, data access, correction, or deletion request, use the subject line “Northstar Tutor Privacy Request.” A parent or legal guardian asking about a child’s information should explain their relationship to the learner. We may request reasonable verification before acting.
For accessibility assistance, use the subject line “Northstar Tutor Accessibility.” Tell us what task you were trying to complete and what assistive technology or accommodation would help.
Urgent or emergency situations
Northstar Tutor and its AI tutor are not emergency, crisis, medical, law-enforcement, or mandated-reporting services. If someone may be in immediate danger, contact local emergency services. In the United States, call 911 for an emergency or call/text 988 for the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline.
